Toast of Taos - Holy Cross Hospital Foundation Executive Director, Sally Trigg, describes the art submitted to the Toast of Taos 2009 Poster Contest. Artists submissions doubled over 2008, according to Sally. "We had a wonderful array of media," she said, "spanning the spectrum of art from oils and pastel to mixed media and jewelry." The field was narrowed by the judges to a "top five" with Kit Lynch's "Harvest" placing first, Ann Cole's "Ready and Waiting" second, Peggy McGivern's "Bounty" third, Laurie Phelps' "Northern New Mexico Grape Harvest" fourth, and Shelbee Mares'
