Hopper at the Harwood
Media Day

A first look of the "Hopper at the Harwood - 40 Years of Friendship from L.A. to Taos" exhibition at the Harwood Museum of Art was provided Monday, May 4, for a "Media Day." Dennis Hopper, Robert Dean Stockwell, and Larry Bell were present to talk about their art, their friendship, and the Easy Rider film. Mayor Darren Cordova named Hopper "Honorary Mayor (for the summer), and presented him with a "Key to the City." Bill Whaley, Taos Horse Fly publisher, was a resident during the '60s and gave
an overview of life in Taos during those times..
